The resort is set on the eastern side of Lake Winnipesaukee. A variety of summer water activities are available in the surrounding Lakes Region, and winter sports can be found in the nearby White Mountains. Enjoy a renovated indoor pool, tennis court, and saunas on site. The 18-hole Kingswood Golf Course borders the resort. Numerous antiques shops, shopping malls, outlet stores, restaurants, and tourist attractions can be found nearby. Units at The Windrifter are small, yet furnished to accommodate your party. The units are air conditioned and provide fullkitchens with a microwave, 4-burner stove,oven, small refrigerator and small appliances. Studio units OCC: Max 4/Pri 2 have 1 bath.Bed structures vary, but most studios provide 1 murphy bed and 2 sleep sofas. 1BR units OCC: Max 5/Pri 4 have 1 bath, 1 double bed or queen bed and 1 or 2 double sleep sofas. 2BR units OCC: Max 8/Pri 4 have 1 bath, 3 double beds and 1 sleep sofa. There are stairs to most units and no unit is fully handicapped accessible. The Yacht Club (YC) units are located 1 1/4 miles from the main resort building. Some buildings have more than one floor - NO ELEVATORS. Ski seasons vary each year.Contact the resort to verify dates. RESORT IS NON-SMOKING. NO pets are allowedat the resort. A credit card imprint is due at check-in. There are stairs to most units. There is a 25-foot limit on boats. Registration fee and docking fee charged. Inbounds must contact resort to make boat reservations at least 45 days in advance.
